–Air, Land, & Sea–
The 2021 Texas A&M Genome Editing Symposium will be held virtually on Thursday, October 28th using Zoom Webinar.
Our event this year is themed “Air, Land, & Sea”. Invited keynote speakers will present on genome editing in organisms found across these three major ecosystems. We will also be hosting a research poster competition where Texas A&M students will have the opportunity to present their research for cash prizes ($250, $150, and $100). There will be a social mixer immediately following the symposium at Napa Flats in College Station. We will conclude our event with an open Q&A panel discussion with our speakers on Friday, October 29th from 12:30pm-1:30pm during the virtual TAMU Plant Breeding Circle.
Prior to the symposium, we will be hosting an Corteva-led workshop centering around developing interviewing techniques for industry careers on Wednesday, October 27th. Participation in this workshop will be limited.
