Brendan Mormile

Brendan Mormile is a PhD candidate in Plant Pathology at Texas A&M University. His research primarily focuses on evaluating how transcription activator-like (TAL) effectors mediate susceptibility and resistance to bacterial blight of cotton. Brendan is also working to develop a virus vector system to deliver the components of CRISPR/Cas9 into cotton germline cells. Prior to joining Texas A&M, Brendan completed a BS in Biology from Merrimack College and a MS in Biology from Southern Connecticut State University.
